Take your time… Eat out, Shop late, Park Free After 3

A brand new identity delivered for Falkirk Council’s great new car parking initiative Free After 3 which promotes free car parking after 3pm in Falkirk town centre.

Free After 3 is available in any of the council operated pay and display car parks in Kemper Avenue, both east and west car parks in Garrison Place, Meeks Road, Melville Street, Weir Street and Williamson Street. (See map below)

Visitors coming to the town by car can take the time to shop or do business, eat out, bag a bargain, meet friends for a coffee or enjoy a leisurely visit – all with parking Free After 3 in Falkirk town centre car parks.

Free After 3 is a Scottish first, with other towns preparing to follow Falkirk’s lead.Animated-Free After 3-pub2

The proposal from Think Falkirk, the independent town centre group, supported by Falkirk Council offers visitors the opportunity to spend more time in our town centre, encourage growth and helping to stimulate our local economy. The Free After 3 initiative has been welcomed by town centre business, officials, politicians and members of the public alike as a measure to help revitalise the heart of our town.

The year long scheme will help promote Falkirk as part of Visit Falkirk the existing marketing and tourism campaign for the area.

Falkirk Delivers will carry out a survey of retailers to gauge the impact once the scheme has been running for some time.
