Team Eden are delighted to be supporting Falkirk Local History Society with their Heritage Lottery Funded project documenting the lives of men from Larbert and Stenhousemuir who participated in World War One.
Russell MacGillivray, former head of history at Larbert High School and Ian Scott, Chairman of Falkirk Local History Society have issued an appeal for information from anyone who has information on the lives of these men including the 282 names recorded on the Dobbie Hall War Memorial.
As part of the project, and in marking the 100th anniversary of the commencement of the Battle of the Somme on 1 July 1916 an exhibition will be on display in The Howgate Shopping Centre, Falkirk. A large pop-up display, supporting graphics and leaflets will provide a platform for dialogue with the general pubic until 3 July. Parts of the exhibition will thereafter be displayed within Larbert Library.
If you are interested in finding out more or have any information you may feel will be useful please contact Ian or Russell direct via the Falkirk Local History Society website. Alternatively, pick up a postcard with their contact details at the exhibition or at Larbert or Falkirk library between now and October 2016.
From eye-catching pop-up display banners, modular exhibition systems to elaborate and bespoke 3D environments, we provide full exhibition design and project management services.
