This year’s Lagavulin Islay Jazz Festival took centre stage on the Scottish island in September. A heady mix of internationally renowned musicians and unique venues, ranging from the island’s distilleries, the Gaelic college, a chocolate factory and an RSPB nature reserve, all add to the unique atmosphere of the festival.
Eden has designed and produced various promotional materials for this unique festival annually since 2004. Working with the promoters and sponsors Lagavulin, our role is to promote the festival and convey the distinctive blend of landscape, music and whisky that combines on Islay, the most southernly of the Hebridean islands.
Eden design the main festival brochure, together with various promotional and marketing elements for both the festival promoters and the various festival sponsors.
Regarded as a significant jazz event in the UK calendar, the festival makes a substantial contribution to the island’s economy, bringing many more visitors from neighbouring countries, reflecting continental European interest in jazz, and many more whisky tourists too.
