Shaping the Future

What better way to celebrate our 10th year in business, than for the Eden team to work with one of our clients and both local and nationally based partners to create a unique photographic exhibition that charts Falkirk’s pivotal role in Scottish history and explains how Falkirk’s future is firmly rooted in its equally dynamic past.

Year of Homecoming, the Bicentenary of Falkirk Steeple, centenary of World War One and the Commonwealth Games. 2014 is a year to think about identity – who we are, how we’ve got here and where we’re going.

‘Falkirk Past & Present – Shaping The Future’ is an exhibition created by Eden and  delivered in partnership with The Howgate, the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS), Falkirk Community Trust (FCT), and Falkirk Delivers.

As much about the future as the past, this exhibition builds on a priceless collection of aerial photographs from the early 20th century, to the present day, as well as selected objects from the Falkirk Council museum collection, managed by Falkirk Community Trust.

Entry to the exhibition is Free and it will run from 5 June to 13 July 2014 in the Howgate Shopping Centre, Falkirk.
